Week 1: Creation
Welcome to Lesson One: God Saw That It Was Good! We will begin our course by hearing and responding to the very first story in the book of Genesis. We will reflect on the story of Creation and collect reminders of all the good things God has created in the world!

O God, who wonderfully created, and yet more wonderfully restored, the dignity of human nature: Grant that we may share the divine life of him who humbled himself to share our humanity, your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. (The Book of Common Prayer, p. 288)

Activity
Make your own collection of items to remind you of all the beautiful things in the world that God created. You can make a snack mix like Victoria does in the video (the recipe is included in the handout!) or collect other things like photos, natural objects from the outdoors, or books and toys that remind you of the different parts of God’s creation. After you make your collection, share with us a picture of what is in it!
