The guiding principles for nursery care begin with our commitment to offering loving, safe, compassionate and Christ-like care. We work to intentionally create a place where the love of God and Jesus is lived out in ways that will help every child want to return again and again.
At the present time we offer first quality nursery care for children of ages two and under. As our children grow older we add content to the time they spend in our care. The Sunday Nursery Director and the paid staff are supported by volunteers in many ways. Visit the Volunteer Village to learn more.
Children's Church Kindergarten through 3rd Grade, September - May Gathering starts at 8:40 a.m., in advance of 9 a.m. Service 2nd Floor, Pritchett Children's Center
Each week children in kindergarten through third grade gather in the children's chapel for a kid-friendly church service designed to bring their faith to life through age appropriate songs, stories, movement, and lessons. Children actively participate in leading the service by reading, singing, operating the projector, offering prayers, and carrying banners.
Most weeks, children join their parents in the church around 9:40 a.m. to share in communion with the wider congregation. Once a month, they remain in children's church to share in an instructed communion service with one of our priests. Children's church strives to instill our youngest saints with a sense of meaning and purpose behind our foundational Christian practices and traditions as we prepare students to begin attending "big church" starting in the 4th grade.
Parents are always welcome and invited to join us!
